Meet Mikayla!
Mikayla is a Chartier's Valley senior who had *the* perfect morning for her senior photos! She even woke up for a sunrise session on a Saturday... talk about dedication!
She came prepared with FOUR amazing outfits - and they were all dresses, so you better believe we did a lot of twirling And just in case you were wondering.. I believe they're all from Altar'd State!

I am SO EXCITED to share this session on the blog today! This was my first time (and hopefully not only time ;) ) photographing a session at Root + Bloom in Renfrew, PA - a florist who has opened her garden for photo sessions! It was such a treat to photograph Samantha’s photos here and to flex my creative muscles at a new location.
Meet Samantha! She is a senior graduating with the class of 2025 from Mars High School. She really wanted summery, flower filled photos for her session. Her mom had the amazing idea to book this location for her session!
Rachelle from Root + Bloom is an incredible florist who has a flower oasis right in her backyard! To those who may be wondering... yes, you can book a photo session on her property! I'll link to her website below in case you are interested!
But back to our senior, Samantha! Samantha is a dancer and hopes to study biology, then go on to PA school. She has a fun and bubbly personality, which was so much fun to capture in her photos!
In addition to using her beautiful garden, Rachelle also made a bouquet for us to incorporate into Samantha’s session.

It has been busy busy busy around here - senior season is in full swing, and it's been a ton of fun!
We had a beautiful morning for Gabby's senior session! She lives super close to Hartwood (definitely a good choice for a 7am start time!), and she hopes to study business post high school!
Gabby brought the loveliest outfits with her... and in addition to using the Hartwood Mansion area, we also ventured down to the Hartwood Stables... a first for me! But somewhere I've always wanted to take photos at!
Gabby's mom brought some beautiful flowers from her garden that we incorporated into the session, too... I love!

You know I love Hartwood... but there's something magical about Mellon Park & the Mellon Institute, too! And both spots were in their prime the night of Natalia’s session!
Natalia is a Chartiers Valley senior! Her first day of school was the day of her senior session - talk about a great way to kick off senior year!
Natalia came with 5 gorgeous outfits for her photos... each of them just as beautiful as the last! Her and her mom had a vision for her photos and I think we were able to bring it to life. Natalia also plays basketball and lacrosse!
Also... Mellon Park - wow! It has all of the gorgeous architecture that Hartwood has, but a little bit of extra "glowy" light... which I love! It's a great alternative to Hartwood if you're looking for something a little different.

Meet Lizzy!
She's a Seneca Valley senior whose session took place at the beautiful Hartwood Acres Mansion on a beautiful morning right at sunrise!
I'm thankful that we were able to get some glowy morning light too - and the mansion area practically to ourselves!
Lizzie plays volleyball and wants to attend college somewhere warm. Her pup Marty came along and enjoyed perusing the garden... so of course we needed to get him in a few photos!

Meet Camille!
I love that Camille brought so many meaningful things to incorporate into her session! Her one year old black lab, Roxie, a sketch pad, and a book - not to mention some beautiful florals that complimented her last outfit perfectly!
We had such a great evening for Camille's photos! The weather was beautiful... it almost felt like fall.

Meet Makenna 🌸
She's an incoming Seneca Valley senior who's graduating with the class of 2025... and she totally nailed her senior session!
This was our second attempt at a session date for Makenna - our first attempt (earlier the same week) was rained out! Due to another pending threat of rain (or so we thought...) we moved her session up a few hours to try to avoid more rain. But guess what... it never rained! We had dark skies swirling around us, but thankfully, we made it through her whole session without a drop!
Makenna was a natural in front of the camera.. which wasn't surprising, considering the fact that her sister (who I photographed two years ago) was too! I'm honored to get to work with families throughout the years... it truly is such a privilege!
The night of Sloane’s session was a gamble in terms of weather... we moved her session up a bit in the evening with hopes that we would avoid the pending rainy forecast. And thankfully... not only did it not rain, but we also had absolutely beautiful light for the entire session!
Sloane is an incoming senior with the Class of 2025! She plays lacrosse and loves ice cream 🍦 and her dog! Who she brought with her to her session. Beau was such a good boy and cooperated so well!
Sloane is a hard worker and a sweet soul with great outfit choices... her maxi dress is from @altardstate and her hair is by the fantastic @drybarshopsus !
And I'm sure if you've been following me for any amount of time, I probably don't have to tell you what location these were taken at 😉 (One that I semi-jokingly refer to as my "second home" during photo season!)

Meet Madalynn & Logan!
These twins will be graduating from Mars High School with the Class of 2025!
It’s always so much fun to photograph twins. I have some seniors that prefer separate sessions, and some that prefer taking their photos together! In this case, Madalynn and Logan opted to take their photos together on the same night, during the same time block.
During the session, we switched back and forth between the two, then took some photos of them together. It’s always fun going back and forth between two different personalities and finding ways to make their photos unique, yet cohesive! Hartwood was a great choice for these two, since there were lots of different backdrops to work with, but all of them “go” together.
Madalynn hopes to study biology post-high school, and Logan hopes to study meteorology. The night of their session, there was a major threat of rain... but we went for it, completely avoided the rain (though there were dark clouds all around us!) and even got some sunshine towards the end of the session!
It was so fun to see the individual personalities of these two come out during their session.

Meet Lexi!
Lexi is an incoming Upper St. Claire senior who plays lacrosse!
Her session was a BLAST, and was a true Pittsburgh Senior Photo session! We hit three iconic locations - Mellon Park, Mellon Institute, and the North Shore! We were blessed with nearby parking at all locations, which made things so much smoother And we stuck to a pretty strict schedule to make it all happen... but it was worth it!
Lexi chose three different outfits for each of her locations, all of which went perfectly with each backdrop!
