Timothy H: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Meet Tim! He's an Eden Christian Academy senior who plans to study science and/or math post high school. A few weeks ago, I photographed his senior portraits at Hartwood Acres!

You may remember Tim’s brother, Sam, and his senior session four years ago at Hartwood! (Click here to see it). I am always so honored when I get to photograph multiple seniors in one family!

We had a little bit of fall starting to peek out during his session... which was so much fun! I love seeing the seasons change in front of my lens as the months go by.

During his session, we also stopped down to the Hartwood Acres Stables for a few photos! It was a fun change of scenery - there are so many beautiful views down there!

Private Pittsburgh Proposal Photos at Phipps Conservatory

This beautiful surprise proposal took place yesterday afternoon! Nick successfully surprised his then girlfriend, now fiance Emma with a sunlit proposal in the Broderie Room at @phippsconservatory ! Not to mention he even got Emma's best friend Becca to come in and surprise her for the weekend Cue the happy tears!

Also, Emma is a huge fan of the Phantom's Opera, and her ring was designed to replicate the design of the ring used in the movie

A HUGE congratulations to Nick & Emma on their engagement!

Nathan W: Moraine State Park Senior Photos

We're heading into my favorite time of year for photos, when the foliage has so much color and texture... and the spot we used for Nathan's senior photos is one of my favorites during this time of year!

And even though it rained for quite a large portion of his session this morning... we got some great images!

Julia M: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

I already have so many favorites from this one!

Julia is a North Allegheny senior who hopes to go into the medical field post high school! She's a dancer, and she was such a blast to photograph! She brought two knock-out dresses that were perfect for twirling!

Also, she brought flowers to incorporate into her session from her Nonna's garden... so sweet & meaningful.

Amber & Ryan: Moraine State Park Engagement Photos

You may remember these two from earlier this year... I had the privilege of photographing their proposal in Zelienople earlier this spring (click here to see it)! I was so honored when they asked me to take their engagement & wedding photos. I loved getting to photograph them again in September at Moraine State Park!

And may I just say that Moraine State Park is my absolute favorite location this time of year, from now into the fall. I mean... can you believe all of those colors and textures?! The light was perfect last night... and I was so glad! It was a bit rainy the day of Amber & Ryan's proposal, so I had been hoping for a really beautiful day for their engagement photos. I'm so thankful that that's what we got!

Amber & Ryan, congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for letting me walk through this season with you!

Allison & Bryant: Sunrise Mellon Park Engagement Photos

We have a small intermission from senior season to feature these two - Allison & Bryant!

These two met while working at Chick-fil-A in 2018 and have been dating for six years! They got engaged at the Aviary and are getting married at the White Barn - my one of my favorite wedding venues! (Also, where Nick and I got married back in 2015, so I'm totally not biased )

But this session was extra special because Allison and I grew up across the street from each other! What a joy it is to celebrate this sweet season alongside these two!

Also, Allison & Bryant woke up on a Saturday for a sunrise session.. and we got some of the most gorgeous light as our reward!

Kaiya: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Meet Kaiya!

She is a Charier's Valley senior who is graduating with the class of 2025! Is she not stunning?!

Kaiya came equipped with three gorgeous outfits - two dresses from Abercrombie, and a top from Altar'd State! Her blue tweed dress with gold buttons was a stunning choice against the Hartwood Mansion stone... and they other two outfits were perfect for the scenery, too!

When I asked Kaiya what she was hoping to study after high school, she told me that she was interested in not just one career possibility - but a handful of different ones, one of the top being computer science! What a great problem to have, to have TOO many possibilities

Bella G: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Meet Bella!

Bella is a Seneca Valley senior who hopes to study nursing post high school! She plays softball and was a champ in front of the camera!

I adore the outfits she chose for her session - four different ones with so much variety! I love her mix of colors & neutrals. We were able to get so many different looks and backgrounds into this one session!

Mikayla D: Hartwood Acres Mansion Sunrise Senior Photos

Meet Mikayla!

Mikayla is a Chartier's Valley senior who had *the* perfect morning for her senior photos! She even woke up for a sunrise session on a Saturday... talk about dedication!

She came prepared with FOUR amazing outfits - and they were all dresses, so you better believe we did a lot of twirling And just in case you were wondering.. I believe they're all from Altar'd State!

Samantha C: Senior Photos at Root + Bloom's Garden

I am SO EXCITED to share this session on the blog today! This was my first time (and hopefully not only time ;) ) photographing a session at Root + Bloom in Renfrew, PA - a florist who has opened her garden for photo sessions! It was such a treat to photograph Samantha’s photos here and to flex my creative muscles at a new location.

Meet Samantha! She is a senior graduating with the class of 2025 from Mars High School. She really wanted summery, flower filled photos for her session. Her mom had the amazing idea to book this location for her session!

Rachelle from Root + Bloom is an incredible florist who has a flower oasis right in her backyard! To those who may be wondering... yes, you can book a photo session on her property! I'll link to her website below in case you are interested!

But back to our senior, Samantha! Samantha is a dancer and hopes to study biology, then go on to PA school. She has a fun and bubbly personality, which was so much fun to capture in her photos!

In addition to using her beautiful garden, Rachelle also made a bouquet for us to incorporate into Samantha’s session.
