Katie V: Moraine State Park Senior Photos

Meet Katie!

She's a senior at Eden Christian Academy who is graduating in the Spring of 2024! She loves art, fashion, music, and nature, and hopes to possibly study fashion post high school.

Katie chose Moraine State Park for her session, which is GORGEOUS in the fall... it's one of my favorite spots to take photos in the fall! And Katie came prepared with three beautiful fall inspired outfits, all of which complimented the backdrops we used perfectly!

Congratulations on your senior year, Katie!

Meet Kylie!

She’s a Seneca Valley High School varsity cheerleader who I had the pleasure of photographing around Hartwood Acres Mansion a few weeks back!

I photographed Kylie’s twin sister, Natalia, a week before Kylie (click here to see Natalia’s blog post!). I love photographing twins… it’s so fun to see how different or similar they are! And Natalia and Kylie are both so different - but both so beautiful, inside and out!

Kylie was so much fun to photograph! She, like her sister, had three killer outfits and was a pro in front of the camera! And take note of her last outfit… a black dress in the garden. I wasn’t sure how a black dress would look in the garden setting but I LOVE how those photos turned out, and how she really stands out from the florals around her!

Congrats on your senior year, Kylie!

Meet Agatha!

She's a senior at Trinity who plays basketball, volleyball, snowboards, skis... she does it all! And on top of all of that, she's incredibly smart (and has the prettiest hair!)

Agatha and her mom drove all the way from Washington PA for a bright and early senior session a few weeks ago. And we had the whole place to ourselves, which was amazing!

Also, Agatha found me on TikTok... which I just love!

Congratulations on your senior year, Agatha!

Meet Natalia!

Natalia was a JOY to photograph! Her bubbly personality shone in her photos all throughout her session - we had such a fun time!

Natalia shared with me that she had been looking forward to her senior session since her freshman year - so of course, it was such an honor to be the one to document this season for her!

She's also a twin (I photographed her twin sister a week after her!), a varsity cheerleader, and hopes to attend college somewhere with a warmer climate!

Congrats on your senior year, Natalia!

Camryn & Zach: Moraine State Park Engagement Photos

Meet Camryn & Zach! (And their pup, Kip!)

I photographed Camryn & Zach at the gorgeous Moraine State Park on a beautiful late summer/early fall evening in celebration of their engagement! They are a sweet pair who is planning on celebrating their wedding day next year in an intimate ceremony down south. They met while attending IUP!

Moraine was looking especially gorgeous on the night of their session - it is one of my favorite locations for that "summer to fall" transition (And quite possibly my favorite fall spot!)

Congratulations on your engagement, Camryn & Zach!

Meet Becca & Nate!

These two met when they were both attending Robert Morris University (I always love to work with fellow alumni)! Their first date was eating dinner at Olive Garden & watching Frozen, and they got engaged this spring and are planning a wedding for next year!

I spent a beautiful, early fall evening photographing them at North Park! We had the perfect weather and the prettiest light, and we found a gorgeous field with wildflowers that stole the show out of all of the locations we used.

I am so thankful that I get to be a part of their wedding day!

Congratulations again on your engagement, Becca & Nate!

Lindsey & Brody: Butler Engagement Photos

Meet Lindsey & Brody!

These two high school met in 7th grade, started dating in 10th grade, and are now engaged to be married next year!

Lindsey & Brody had their photos taken at a very special location... on Brody's grandpa's property! He has a beautiful property in Butler filled with ponds, barns, forest, fields - and we got to explore it all with them yesterday evening!

They will also be getting married on this very property this upcoming spring, making it an even more special spot! And if that wasn't sweet enough... Brody's parents actually got married on the property years ago!

And I photographed Lindsey's sister's wedding a few years ago... it is always ALWAYS a joy (and an honor) to be invited back to document weddings within the same family!

I just adore this couple, and I could hardly choose just a few previews to share because I already have so many favorites!

Congratulations on your engagement, Lindsey & Brody! Can't wait for next year!

Hartwood Acres Mansion Mini Family Photo Session

You may recognize one of the faces in this family from a blog post a few weeks ago (see it here!). In addition to photographing Alexis’s senior photos, I had the pleasure of photographing her with her family. For seniors booking a session with me, it is always fun to add a family “mini” session on for some updated portraits of the whole family together! And this family did a great job in front of the camera!

Sarah & Brian: Shady Elms Farm Wedding Photos

A beautiful Shady Elms Farm wedding day for Sarah & Brian!

Actually, this was a one year wedding anniversary celebration on their actual one year wedding anniversary! Sarah & Brian tied the knot in a civil ceremony exactly one prior to their Shady Elms Farm celebration. This year was their celebration with friends & family!

There were SO many meaningful details incorporated into this celebration - Sarah wore the same shoes this year she wore at her civil ceremony, and Brian wore the same suspenders and bowtie. They read their personal vows aloud this year in front of their friends & family, and a close friend officiated their ceremony. Sarah & Brian are huge WWE fans and had an epic entrance into their reception to reflect that, too, complete with choreography and belts!

It was also supposed to rain for almost the entirety of their wedding day… but when the day actually came, not a drop. That was a huge blessing! AND even though it was cloudy for the majority of their day, the sun peeked out right around golden hour, and we were able to get some beautiful photos in on Shady Elms Farm’s famous hillside.

At the end of the night, Sarah & Brian had a sparkler send off, complete with “cold sparkler” canons provided by 2ND II None Productions. They made for an epic final photo of the night!

And of course, we are always so thankful to be back at the beautiful Shady Elms Farm, one of our favorite wedding venues of all time! They are truly just so talented and gifted at making sure their wedding days run so smoothly (and they make sure we are taken care of in the process, too - which means the world!).

And this may be a slightly longer blog post than usual, just because of the beauty of the venue and all of Sarah & Brian’s wonderfully meaningful details. So I hope you enjoy! ❤️

Congratulations again to Sarah & Brian on a beautiful one year anniversary celebration! So thankful that we got to be a part of it!

Meet Kendell!

She is a swimmer at Upper St. Claire who is graduating with the class of 2024! We had the most gorgeous evening for her senior session at Hartwood Acres Mansion... one of the first evenings where it has actually started to feel like fall!

Kendell brought three beautiful outfits - and what I love about them is that they all compliment each other color-wise! Her long pink dress went perfectly with the pink florals in the Hartwood garden (and with the roses she brought with her - Costco flower section for the win!)

Congratulations on your senior year, Kendell!
