These two math lovers chose their date based on the Fibonacci Sequence, which reads:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21...

You'll notice the 8, 13, 21 sequence... the absolute perfect date for two people who were brought together by their love of math! Their day was filled with romantic details and was a true fairytale to behold. These two are so incredibly, compassionate, and full of love for each other!

Trudy B: The Strip District Pittsburgh Senior Photos

For as much as I love nature and historical architecture, Trudy’s colorful, gritty Pittsburgh senior session was a breath of fresh air that my little artistic heart needed!

Trudy’s only request for her photos was that there was “no nature” - and while we might’ve had some potted plants and alley weeds in her photos, I think we were able to hit the mark with her choice of location! The great thing about the Strip District is that there are lots of interesting spots to work with within a short walking distance from the Terminal. Colorful steps, interesting brick alleyways, and then a short drive away… a gorgeous parking garage where you can see all of the Pittsburgh skyline!

And besides the location, Trudy was a total GEM to photograph! I had the pleasure of photographing her sister’s senior photos years ago (back in 2015, I think? Time flies!), and their family as well! What a blessing it is to be able to work with families throughout the years and to see how they grow and change!

Laura K: Camp Kon-O-Kwee Senior Photos

When you grow up at camp, it only makes sense to have your senior photos taken there!

YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer was the perfect backdrop for Laura's senior photos! We had the true camp experience with insane heat + humidity, bugs, and learning all about plants that have the ability to latch onto your body and sting you over and over (almost from experience, until Laura saved the day). Even with all of that, we truly had the BEST time hanging out with this super fun senior!

Congratulations again on your senior year, Laura! You are a gem and it was such a pleasure to celebrate you!

Sophie H: Succop Nature Park Senior Photos

Miss Sophie is a Mars senior who plans to pursue nursing post-high school. She is currently a lifeguard (at the same exact place I worked at in high school!!! ) and is just a sweetheart all around. We had so much fun exploring Succop Nature Park - Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania during her senior session!

Lindsey & Tyler: Energy Innovation Center Wedding Photos

Lindsey & Tyler had a very Pittsburgh wedding, featuring the absolutely GORGEOUS Energy Innovation Center, which features a stunning rooftop overlooking the city, and giant windows in their main room, making the skyline of Pittsburgh the backdrop for their ceremonies and receptions! Oh how I absolutely LOVED photographing Lindsey & Tyler's wedding there!!

We had a first look on the roof... featuring a fake first look first! Definitely a fun way to start their day off! We headed off to one of my favorite spots for portraits in the city, where some birds joined us for bridal party photos (you'll see what I mean as you scroll ;) ), then made our way back to the EIC for the ceremony and reception, and then capped the evening off together with some photos on the roof. I adore these two... we had the best day celebrating with them! Congratulations on your wedding day, Lindsey & Tyler!!

Luke M: McConnell's Mill & Moraine State Park Senior Photos

Even though Luke's senior session started out with a downpour, we waited it out in our cars, and the rest of the evening we had such awesome light!

We had two great locations to work with - McConnell’s Mill, and Moraine State Park, which gave us a ton of variety with the backdrops we could choose from! Both locations were the perfect backdrop for this adventure loving senior who loves the great outdoors. It was such an honor to get to take his photos! Congratulations on your senior year, Luke!

Josh K: Mellon Park Senior Photos

A few favorites from Josh’s senior session at Mellon Park just a few weeks ago! Josh is a rising senior at Pine Richland who plays soccer and loves Chipotle… and has some great style! The blue suit and floral tie combo never gets old.

Anna & Henry: Cleland Rock & Moraine State Park Engagement Photos

This engagement session has it all - a dog, flowers, water, fields, and a gorgeous couple who is totally and completely in love!

Anna & Henry have been together for about three and a half years, and are tying the knot next year at one of my favorite venues - the White Barn! They love the beach and have the cutest little pup named Fin, who joined us for some photos!

Congratulations on your engagement, Anna & Henry! I am so excited to photograph your wedding day next year!!

Brittany & Ian: Tropical Wedding Celebration at Pinehall at Eisler Farms

I knew from the moment I first chatted with Brittany & Ian that their wedding was going to be unique, colorful, and fun! And if you’ve been reading the blog for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed that I LOVE COLOR in photos! Their vibrant, tropical-themed wedding had an abundance of lush greenery, vibrant flowers, fresh fruit, and even some "tropical" rain storms that made us feel like we were shooting a wedding in the rain forest! ;) Okay, so, the random rain storms that came throughout the day weren’t anyone’s favorite part of the wedding, but we were able to still get some gorgeous photos while dodging the rain!

Other fun details you’ll see below include: pineapples galore - even in the bride’s bouquet and HAIR! (look closely and you’ll see what I mean!), as well as an antique shuttle bus (killer!), goats, and fireworks!!! Really and truly, this wedding had it all.
