Alex & Nick: Camelot Banquet Center Warrendale Wedding Photos

It was a lovely, beautiful, fairytale wedding day with Alex & Nick just a few weeks ago at the Camelot Banquet Center in Warrendale!

The Camelot Banquet Hall in Warrendale is one of my favorite small wedding venues near Cranberry Township. It has some beautifully unique features, including beautiful stain glass windows surrounding the entire reception space! I photographed one wedding here quite a few years ago, so it was fun to be back in a familiar space (that also is quite close to home!).

We've had the pleasure of knowing the bride's family for quite some time - I even took Alex's senior photos back in 2014, near the start of my photography journey! So of course, we were beyond honored to be asked to be a part of this sweet celebration!

Alex & Nick's wedding day was everything you would want an early March wedding in Pittsburgh to be. They had an unseasonably warm and sunny day, which was a huge blessing, since we took the majority of their portraits outside! Though not many trees had begun to bloom as of early March, we were still able to find some beautiful photo locations right on the Camelot’s property for photos - some out front of the Camelot, and some on an unsuspecting bridge right near the venue!

One of the sweetest parts of their day - which was a complete surprise to Alex & Nick - was the white horse drawn carriage waiting for them outside following the exit from their ceremony! An unforgettable surprise coordinated by the father of the groom.

Without further ado - I’m so excited to share Alex & Nick’s wedding photos with you!

Congratulations, Alex & Nick, on your beautiful wedding day, and on your marriage!

Megan & Frankie: Circuit Center Ballroom Wedding Photos

The morning of Megan & Frankie’s wedding, I woke up and immediately checked the temperature, knowing that it was going to be a cold one… and was met with a reading of -8°F, with a high for the day of 15°F.

I’ve only ever photographed two weddings prior to Megan & Frankie’s in January here in Pittsburgh. One had a high of 6°F for the day, and the other had a high of 56°F! It goes to show that you never truly know what weather will be like here in the Burgh for any Pittsburgh winter wedding.

Thankfully, Megan & Frankie were not afraid of the cold (it never bothered them anyway! ;) ), and actually had the vast majority of their portraits taken outside! They, along with their fantastic bridal party members, were all troopers in the frigid temperatures… and I have to say, I think it was well worth it! It may have been cold, but the sun was shining and provided some gorgeous light for us to work with!

The wedding day began with getting ready photos at the Springhill Suites in the Southside, after which Megan and her bridesmaids WALKED the two blocks to the wedding venue… in the cold. One was in shorts! These ladies were committed!!!

After arriving at the Circuit Center Ballroom, Megan put on her dress, her “something borrowed” (grandma’s pearl bracelet), and her and Frankie had their first look in the courtyard of the event venue, while friends & family watched from the windows (so sweet!). We headed straight over to the Hot Metal Bridge for photos of the bride & groom afterward… and again, they walked the 3+ blocks there! Honestly, they deserve some sort of winter wedding MVP award for the amount of time they spent outside without any complaints. I was so impressed!

We headed back to the venue for bridal party & family photos, followed by a short and sweet ceremony, then a cocktail hour and reception. One of my favorite details from the wedding day was the coolest “guest book” I’ve ever seen! Guests could leave the bride & groom voicemails on an old rotary phone. I loved it, and the guests did, too! Another favorite detail was a live painting of their first dance during the reception by a local artist. It was so fun to see the painting come together throughout the evening! They also had a “to infinity & beyond” wedding cake topper, as a nod towards when they met (when they were 12!).

It was an absolute pleasure to get to come alongside Megan & Frankie as they celebrated their wedding day this weekend! They are two of the kindest, most laid back people, and their wedding day was truly so much fun to photograph!

Congratulations on your wedding day, Megan & Frankie! Thank you for the huge honor of documenting your day!

Maria & Andrew: Blue & Blush Laube Hall Wedding Photos

Maria & Andrew were my last couple to move their wedding day due to Covid. Though they had planned for a Spring celebration, their November wedding day was just as beautiful and meaningful! We started off the day with getting ready photos at the home where Maria grew up - then, we had a first look at Maria & Andrew's new home (just a few minutes down the road!), and then a ceremony & reception where two of Maria's sisters had also celebrated their wedding days!

These two made so many decisions about the details of their wedding day that centered around their love for each other and for their family... and it made their day even more of a joy to be a part of and to tell the story of!

Maria & Andrew, congratulations on your wedding day and on your marriage! We adore you two!!!

What a beautiful wedding day Allison & Anthony two had towards the end of November! These two were another couple of mine who postponed their wedding day from last year to this year - but I would say that it was well worth the wait!

Their day was filled with joy, love, and was an absolute pleasure to be a part of. We were even able to take wedding portraits at the place where they first met... at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve at Saint Vincent College!

Congratulations on your wedding day, Allison & Anthony! We are so very thankful to have been a part of your beautiful day!

Amy & Anthony: Indiana Country Club Wedding Anniversary

You might recognize these two if you’ve been following along on the blog over the last few years! ❤️I’ve had the pleasure of spending the last THREE Octobers in Indiana PA with these two - first with their engagement session back in 2019, then with their micro-wedding in 2020, and again this year for an anniversary celebration with all of their friends & family! Indiana PA is GORGEOUS in the fall!

Amy & Anthony were married last year on the coveted date of 10.10.20 surrounded by a very small group of friends & family. It was sweet, intimate, full of unexpected twists and turns (like the breakdown of the trolley that was supposed to carry all of the guests from one place to the next!).

And this year... they got to celebrate with so many more people that they hold near and dear to their hearts at Indiana Country Club! Though it was rainy day, it was still a beautiful celebration of their first year of marriage, filled with lots of little personal details! Including lots of Dunkin' donuts (their favorite dessert… and mine! ;) ), and a luggage tag favor to represent their love for travel. AND we were even able to sneak outside when the clouds parted for a few brief minutes after their ceremony!

Amy & Anthony, it was such an honor to get to celebrate with you AGAIN! When I think of or visit Indiana, PA, I will always think of you two. Congratulations on your first year of marriage!

WOW is all I can say! These two planned their "small wedding ceremony now, big reception later" before it was a "thing" . Though they've been married for two years, they finally got to celebrate with their friends & family this past weekend - on the most beautiful, first week of October weekend - at the gorgeous Bella Sera!

I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos just a few months ago, where I was able to hear more about the story of how they met! They were complete strangers until Caitlin’s car broke down at an airport, and Tanner - the good samaritan stranger - offered to help. And after that, it’s all history!

Caitlin & Tanner, thank you so, SO much for letting me be a part of your celebration. Congratulations on two amazing years of marriage!

Pinehall at Eisler Farms was the absolute perfect setting for Nicole & Ed's gorgeous wedding day!

I had the pleasure of taking Nicole & Ed’s engagement photos in Historic Harmony back in the summer of 2020. If you’re interested in seeing them, click here!

These two are high school sweethearts who know how to throw a party! I'm not sure I've ever seen so many people stay until the very end of a wedding before. They are most certainly loved & adored by their friends & family!

Congratulations on your wedding day, Nicole & Ed! ❤️

These two had an absolutely STUNNING wedding day at one of the most beautiful venues I think I've ever photographed (and one that's been on my "wedding bucket list" for quite some time) - Fox Chapel Golf Club! Brimming with greenery, natural light, and classic details, this venue is the perfect spot for a celebration of love!

Katie, Jake, and their friends & family were so welcoming, so kind, and just an absolute pleasure to spend the day with! Congratulations again, Katie & Jake!

Leah & Matt: Duquesne University Power Center Wedding Photos

Leah & Matt had a wedding day filled with endless amounts of love, joy, and just the sweetest people!

It is an immeasurable blessing to get to share in some of the happiest days of people's lives, especially when I've had the privilege of working with them on quite a few occasions.

Leah & Matt had a vintage inspired wedding day that begin at Memorial Park Church in Allison Park, PA. We had a bit of fun with a fake first look, featuring Matt’s brother in a wedding dress from Goodwill - then, Matt saw his bride for the first time (for real this time!) when she walked down the aisle.

After the ceremony, we hopped over to Duquesne University for some photos, and then for a gorgeous reception the Duquesne Power Center!

Leah & Matt, you were an absolutely joy to photograph, and we pray all the best for you in your marriage! Congratulations, again!!

Cassie & Nick: Shady Elms Farm Wedding Day

I am so thankful to have been a part of this wedding day!

We had the pleasure of meeting Cassie & Nick at Cassie’s brother’s wedding a few years ago! From that moment, I knew these two were a good time… so when Cassie contacted me asking if I could photograph her and Nick’s wedding day, I was absolutely stoked! I was even more excited to hear that they had chosen one of my all time favorite wedding venues - Shady Elms Farm - to be the location for their beautiful day! I didn’t think it could get any better until we met their friends & family on their wedding day. They were so kind, so fun, and so encouraging to photograph… all of them! And to top it all off, we had the most gorgeous golden hour to end their day with a bang.

Cassie & Nick, thank you for the huge, incredible honor of being a part of your wedding day!
