During her session, Sarah confessed that she doesn't like having her photo taken. That's fair, a lot of people aren't used to being in front of the camera. But to be honest - Sarah was SUCH a natural in front of my lens! First, she's gorgeous, and second, she has the perfect "model face" down! This girl absolutely knows how to work the camera, and she made my job incredibly easy. Thanks for being awesome Sarah!

The North Shore is one of my favorite spots for photos! Aaron's session took place on an usually warm afternoon in November during a Steeler game. I've known Aaron for a long time, and it was an honor to take his senior portraits.
I love when Pittsburgh cooperates in November! We had gorgeous weather for Megan's senior shoot. It's hard to believe we took these photos in the middle of November! This professional lady is a fellow Disney lover (much like me and my husband), who plans on working for Disney someday! I love people with big dreams, especially people who are intent on making them happen. I'll come visit you in Disney, Megan! ;)
Hartwood Acres Mansion has easily become one of my favorite spots for photos because of the variety of locations it offers within a short walking distance. We had so much fun hanging out with Hannah - congratulations on your last year of school!
This sweet lady was so much fun to photograph! An aspiring photographer herself (and school mascot!), we had fun talking about photography and exploring the Hartwood Acres grounds. Congratulations on your last year of school, Maddie!
North Park has so many great outdoor spots for senior photos. From fall trees, to fields, to a fall tree, Kathleen's session hit all of my favorite North Park spots! She even brought along a couple of her favorite books (including Harry Potter - yes!) and stethoscope (she's going to school to study nursing). Congratulations, Kathleen!
I have known this beautiful lady for so long! We photographed her dance photos a few years ago, and it was an honor for her to pick JHP for her senior photos! We stayed in Oakland for her photos, hitting the Cathedral of Learning and Phipp's Conservatory, plus a few spots in between. We had such a fun time with you, Emily! Congratulations on your senior year!
I meet a lot of good people in my line of work. Sweet people with sweet souls - and Kelly is one of those people! Her confidence and love for helping others makes her beautiful from the inside out. I'm so honored that we were able to take her senior photos! Especially since it was at one of my favorite spots: Phipp's Conservatory in Oakland!
It's always an honor when I get to photograph members of the same family - even when it's years apart from each other! I photographed Clay's brother, Alex, a couple of years ago when I was fairly new to the business. It's hard to believe his brother is not graduating! We loved hanging out with Clay at Moraine State Park (a great location for fall colors!) on a brisk, autumn afternoon. Thanks for a great shoot, Clay!
One of the many things I love about photography is how it brings people together, and more personally, how it gives me the chance to reconnect with people I haven't seen in years! Believe it or not, I graduated with Joshua's brother from high school in 2011, just four short years ago. When their mom emailed me asking to schedule a session for Joshua, I was both excited and stunned that Joshua was a senior!
During his session, we visited the Mellon Institute and the Cathedral of Learning. An aspiring photographer himself, Joshua even brought his Nikon DSLR for a couple of shots! We had a great time taking your senior photos, Joshua! Best of luck to you as you finish up your last year at North Hills!
