Jo H. | North Park Senior Session

You might recognize the lovely Jo from her sibling session a few months back (see it here). We had so much fun hanging out at North Park taking Jo's senior photos - she even brought her pom pons and a bag full of her dance shoes for us to incorporate into the shoot! 2014-05-12_0001.jpg 2014-05-12_0002.jpg 2014-05-12_0003.jpg 2014-05-12_0004.jpg 2014-05-12_0007.jpg 2014-05-12_0008.jpg 2014-05-12_0009.jpg 2014-05-12_0005.jpg 2014-05-12_0006.jpg

Kyle C. | Zelienople Senior Session

Kyle is a 2014 Seneca Valley senior, and we had an awesome time shooting his portraits this past week in the little town of Zelienople. He's a member of Seneca's ROTC program, and can hold himself up by his own strength parallel to the ground (see the last photo). Thanks for an awesome shoot, Kyle! 2014-05-09_0001.jpg 2014-05-09_0011.jpg 2014-05-09_0010.jpg 2014-05-09_0009.jpg 2014-05-09_0003.jpg 2014-05-09_0008.jpg 2014-05-09_0006.jpg 2014-05-09_0004.jpg 2014-05-09_0005.jpg 2014-05-09_0007.jpg

That's some serious strength, ladies and gents. 2014-05-09_0002.jpg

Josh + Megan | RMU Wheatley Center

I absolutely love taking photos of friends! These two have been dating for about a year and a half, and asked me to snap a few quick photos of them around Robert Morris University's campus in between finals. You guys are the best - thanks for a great time! 2014-05-04_0001.jpg 2014-05-04_0003.jpg 2014-05-04_0006.jpg 2014-05-04_0007.jpg 2014-05-04_0004.jpg 2014-05-04_0005.jpg 2014-05-04_0002.jpg

Flower Child

Spring made an appearance yesterday, and the weather was too beautiful to deny an impromptu shoot. Getting some beautiful free flowers may have also had something to do with it! 2014-04-07_0002.jpg 2014-04-07_0001.jpg 2014-04-07_0003.jpg

Sara D. | Studio Mini Session

I don't often shoot in a studio, but when I do, it's usually with this girl, my lovely friend Sara (who is also a photographer). And she was even kind enough to model for me (it can be hard to get in front of the camera when you're used to being behind it)! 2014-03-30_0001.jpg 2014-03-30_0002.jpg I couldn't leave this gem out. 2014-03-30_0003.jpg 2014-03-30_0005.jpg 2014-03-30_0004.jpg

Allison M. | Robert Morris University Portraits

"The human race has only one really effective weapon and that is laughter." - Mark Twain If there's one thing I absolutely love capturing in photographs, it's laughter. Laughter shows people as they as their most natural, true self. I have no problem making myself look or sound stupid... as long as I get a good laugh, it's worth it - every time. Thanks to Allison for laughing at my stupid jokes!

(Also, these are from this past fall - to brighten up your winter day!)

Winter Wonderland

I've got to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of winter once Christmas is over - but there is something I love about shooting in the snow. It provides such a beautiful, peaceful backdrop.
