Point State Park Family Photos

Last year, I photographed my last covid reschedule wedding in my third trimester of pregnancy (click here to see it!)

My couple (Jen & Brandon) had already tied the knot the previous year in a small ceremony and had decided to still move forward with their big reception... even after they had found out they were expecting! So I had the joy of photographing one of my couples while they were expecting, while we were also expecting. It was such a sweet connection!

Fast forward to this year. This couple asked me to photograph them with their sweet baby Arabella, who will be one in February! They chose a location that is personal to them - Point State Park. They lived right near there and frequented the park before moving elsewhere.

And even though it was cold... Arabella was SO compliant and we had the best time exploring the park together!

We found the most beautiful red bushes that added a gorgeous pop of color to the winter scene. Although, I’m a firm believer that the city looks beautiful during any and all seasons!

Historic Harmony Family Photos

A few days ago I had my very last session of the year! (For now ;) ) And it was with a really special family in one of my favorite spots!

This family moved a few years ago from Texas - away from their home state and families - up to PA to help plant New Horizon Church. We have had the privilege of getting to do life with them over the past several years and love them dearly! And since their family has grown by a whole member since they first came to PA, it was time for some updated photos!

And even better... Grandma just so happened to be in town, so she got to jump in for a few photos, too!

I loved photographing this family of three (almost four!) in celebration of this season that's coming down the pike for them! They chose one of my favorite spots... Historic Harmony! And it was all decorated for Christmas, which made it all the more fun!

Beaver In Home Lifestyle Family Photos

The sweetest in home family session to celebrate one year of life for little Ezra!

We had the pleasure of getting to be neighbors with this sweet family until just about a month ago, when they moved to another part of town! So of course, it was a joy to see them in a beautiful new space. Even though we were sad to see them go!

In home sessions can be a great way to get some photos of the fam in the comfort of your own space, away from the cold! Ezra stayed happy and content in a space he was familiar with, which made things easier for mom & dad!

An in home session can be a great option for the colder months here in Pittsburgh. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their session!

Frick Park Family Photos

I am always excited when I’m asked to take photos around Frick Park/the Frick Museum in Pittsburgh. It is such a beautiful area of Pittsburgh that I don’t always have an excuse to visit… so getting to work there is always exciting!

And it just so happens that I have gotten to photograph this couple twice in this beautiful location that is oh-so special to them!

I took Petra & Kevin’s engagement photos back in 2020 in these very locations - and three years and one baby later, I was so excited to be back here again with them! With plans to possibly move out of state, they wanted to document - one more time - how special this spot is to them.

Zelienople Family Photos

This session was a joy for so many reasons!

I first met Sam and Anthony back in 2017 after they had recently gotten engaged. I took their engagement photos that year, and then photographed their wedding in 2018 (click here to see!). This year, I had the privilege of photographing them as a family of four during peak fall on the Historic Harmony trail… one of my favorite locations in the fall!

It is always an honor and privilege to get to photograph growing families over the years. Thank you so much to Sam & Anthony for letting me photograph this season of life for you!

Hartwood Acres Mansion Mini Family Photo Session

You may recognize one of the faces in this family from a blog post a few weeks ago (see it here!). In addition to photographing Alexis’s senior photos, I had the pleasure of photographing her with her family. For seniors booking a session with me, it is always fun to add a family “mini” session on for some updated portraits of the whole family together! And this family did a great job in front of the camera!

Quite possibly the sweetest way to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary? Photos with your grandchildren. What a wonderful idea!

It was a blessing to get to celebrate alongside this sweet family this evening! Congrats to these Nana & Grampy on 50 years or marriage - what a legacy to leave for your grandchildren!

Hartwood Acres Mansion Family Photos

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple a few years ago when their first child was on the way at this very same location - and I had the pleasure of photographing them again as their second child is on the way! ❤️

Marie & Stanley are the type of people you meet and instantly love to be around. Besides being parents, they are also phenomenal wedding photographers, which is actually how we met! It is always such a joy to catch up with them and to see their sweet family grow.

Allegheny Rivertrails Park Family Photos

We had the most beautiful evening for this family’s photo session around Allegheny Rivertrails Park in Aspinwall! Not only is this park so beautifully Pittsburgh (with bridges that run above it and it’s location right on the river!), but it is also a very special place for this family, who comes here often!

I actually photographed this family for the first time 8 years ago back in 2015! (Click here to see!) It’s wild to me that I’ve actually been in business that long… 2014 was the year I “officially” became a business, though I had been taking photos of and for people since 2011.
