Rachel & Peter: Hartwood Acres Mansion Engagement Photos

What a blessing it was to spend an early Spring morning with these two!

Rachel and Peter are getting married in just a few weeks after postponing their wedding from 2020. I am so thankful to have been able to photograph them before their wedding day, so that we could all get a feel for what it would be like to work together on their wedding day! And of course… they were total naturals in front of the camera! And now I am even more excited for their wedding day than I was before.

I cannot wait to celebrate with you two so very soon! ❤️

Brittany & Ian: Vibrant Hartwood Acres Engagement Photos

I knew Brittany & Ian were a great fit as a JHP wedding couple when they mentioned loving vibrant colors in photos! Vibrant, bright color is always my absolute favorite to photograph!

As you’ll be able to see from the photos below, Brittany did not disappoint with her gorgeous, brightly colored pink maxi dress. It was a DREAM to shoot, not only because of it’s bright color, but because of how flowy it was! And Ian came in a fun patterned shirt (complete with palm trees and flamingos! 🏝) to compliment Brittany’s choice!

Brittany & Ian have known each other for over a decade, and got engaged at one of their favorite places to vacation - Myrtle Beach! To celebrate their love of the beach, they are having a tropical themed wedding next year. Congratulations on your engagement, Brittany & Ian! I am so honored to be the one to document this season for you both!!

This was my first time photographing a couple at Fellows Riverside Gardens and I totally fell in LOVE! Props to my couple for introducing me to this epic location!

Brielle and Stephen came dressed to kill! An engagement session is always a good time to kick up the style a notch!

Photographing my cousin and his fiance was definitely one of the biggest highlights of all of my engagement sessions this year! And getting to take photos in the sunflower fields at Soergel’s was just icing on the cake!

I mean, have you ever seen flower bushes so beautiful?!

I was wondering why all of the sunflowers were facing in one direction, and learned that they grow facing towards the rising sun. Fun fact!

Winter engagement sessions are always, ALWAYS my favorite. 💕 Specifically when there’s snow!

Technically this was an anniversary session, but we adore these two so I had to include them!

Ed and Meghan incorporated a car that’s been in Ed’s family for quite a few generations. It was so much fun!

This was one of my favorite locations of the entire year! Everything just came together seamlessly - the sky, the light, the couple.
